Fernando is a health economics and market access professional with 8 years of international experience at in-country and above-country roles in the pharmaceutical industry. He began his carreer contribuiting to and later leading sucessful access and reimbursement projects in emerging markets. In his most recent roles Fernando has worked on value communication and payer-facing evidence generation to broaden access to innovative therapies with a focus on USA, EU4, UK and Brazil.
Fernando's experience includes several therapeutic areas, product life cycle stages (pipeline, launch & inline), risk-sharing / managed entry agreements, cross-indication access initiatives, health-authority / regulatory approver query response, economic modelling, patient-reported outcomes, payer market research, statistical analyses, trial exit interviews and chart-review studies. Complementing his credentials in health economics, Fernando has substantial experience in field interactions with payers as well as leading value communication and payer market research projects.
